This is a healthy and seasonal approach to an Australian Halloween, where chopped fruit is stuffed inside a Watermelon Jack-the-Lantern. No pumpkins here!

This is a opportunity to add a simple but effective garnish to what is otherwise a fairly standard guacamole recipe. It’s perfect for your next Halloween party, where adults and kids alike will love this easy guacamole made from avocados, cumin, and lemon juice. Just make sure to have plenty of chips on hand for serving!
2 cloves garlic
1 lemon, juiced
1 small tomato
salt, to taste
cumin, to taste
Peel and finely dice the garlic. Add the avocado flesh, garlic, and lemon juice to a bowl then mash with a fork. This can be as chunky or as smooth as you would like it to be.
Finely dice the tomato, removing the wet internal seeds and flesh. Stir into the guacamole. Taste and adjust to taste, with salt, cumin, and extra lemon juice.
Cut an avocado in half and reserve the side with the seed in it. Carve in a skull face, cut all the way through to the seed to expose the stone. Serve in a bowl with the chips and skull to garnish.
