Harry Soo of Slap Yo’ Daddy (SYD) BBQ is an award-winning BBQ competitor and instructor specializing in easy, mouth-watering recipes for the home cook.

A BBQ Pitmasters alum, SYD stunned the nation by defeating all the teams, including two BBQ World Champions, in the winner-take-all Rib Throwdown in Texas. His cooking classes have spawned a generation of culinary que-ers and chefs.

A multiple California Team of the Year and international champion, Soo was featured on Food Network Chopped Grill Masters, Cutthroat Kitchen, and Destination America’s SMOKED.
