Except as explicitly provided herein, this Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Bush Cooking does not own or control, or to people that Bush Cooking does not employ or manage, nor does this Privacy Policy apply to our collection of information from other sources (unless specifically stated). This Privacy Policy otherwise applies to information about anyone who interacts with us, including advertisers, subscribers and people who use Company Services (both registered and unregistered users).

We have adopted this Privacy Policy to explain what information may be collected on our Websites, how we use this information and under what circumstances we may disclose the information to third parties. This Privacy Policy, together with the Terms of Use posted on our Websites, sets forth the general rules and policies governing your use of our Websites. Depending on your activities when visiting our Websites, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.

We generally keep this Privacy Policy posted on our Websites and you should review it frequently, as we reserve the right to change it from time to time without prior notice to you. INFORMATION COLLECTED

We collect personal information to provide Company Services and for our business operations. If you choose not to provide the information we request from you, we may not be able to provide you with the services you require.

Registration Information is the information you provide to Company when you register for or acquire a Company Service. This may include information you provide us to:

Information from third party Social Media. If you access or log-in to a Company Service through a third party social media service or connect a Company Service to your social media profile, we may also include information from that social media service. This may include:

• any information or content you have permitted the social media service to share with us (such as your profile picture(s), email address, followers or friends lists); and
• any other information you have made public (including other posts you make using your social media profile).
We do not collect your social media profile password. When you access Company Services through your social media profile, or when you connect a Company Service to your social media profile, you authorize us to collect and handle your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Activity Information – cookies and other technologies. When you visit Company’s websites (including to access and use Company Services) we may collect information about your visit. For example, in order to connect you to the Company Services, our servers receive and record information about your computer, device, and browser, which may include your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. If you access the Company Services from a mobile or other device, we may collect a unique device identifier assigned to that device, geolocation data, or other transactional information from that device. Information from Other Sources. We may supplement the information we collect about you with information from other sources. This may include information from publicly available sources (such as other published content) and data providers, as well as information from our business partners or related and affiliated companies.

Information in relation to other persons who deal with us. Information is collected on the Site by or on behalf of Bush Cooking. If data is being collected and/or maintained by any company other than Bush Cooking or an agent for Bush Cooking, you will be notified prior to the time of the data collection or transfer. If you do not want your data to be shared, you can choose not to allow the transfer by not using that particular Service or purchasing those particular goods. Bush Cooking does not, however, provide any personally identifiable information about you to these advertisers.

HOW INFORMATION IS USED & SHARED

Bush Cooking will not sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable information to others without your consent, except as provided in this Privacy Policy. In general, the information you provide will be used to support your customer relationship with Bush Cooking.

Users acknowledge consent to publish their user-submitted recipes and related content – including name and image – on the Bush Cooking website as well as for all other purposes which may include, but are not limited to, press releases, newspaper articles, and advertising materials.

We want to help you quickly find information regarding the Services on this Site and alert you to specific offers, updated information, and other new products and Services that are available. Accordingly, we may send you direct mailings about our various products and Services or other products and services we feel may be of interest to you. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply “opt-out” by the means provided for (if any) in the mailings or by contacting help@bushcooking.com.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Bush Cooking does research on our users’ demographics, interests and behavior based on the information provided to us during your use of this Site. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis. Aggregated data does not include personally identifiable information. Bush Cooking may share this aggregated data with others. Bush Cooking also may combine your information with information we collect or receive from other companies and sources (such as demographic data) to improve and personalize our services.

Bush Cooking may share the personal data you provide or the information gathered by Bush Cooking to any party with your consent or, in any event, to Bush Cooking subsidiaries, agents, contractors and our business partners. Bush Cooking also may share information with the following groups: (a) affiliated business which Bush Cooking does not control but with which it engages in joint and co-branded offerings, (b) third party service providers in order to facilitate the performance of only those functions which are assigned to them, such as website operation and maintenance, order fulfillment, data analysis, marketing assistance, provision of search results and links, credit card payment processing, and customer service, and (c) entities with which Bush Cooking may merge or which may acquire all or substantially all of Bush Cooking’s assets, as customer information likely will be one of the transferred assets.

Third party vendors, including Google, show Bush Cooking ads on sites on the internet and utilize cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to Bush Cooking. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads and collect information when users visit our site. We use reasonable measures to safeguard the personal information we hold about you from loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification, including:
System security. We take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to our online and computerized systems by using measures such as firewalls, data encryption, virus detection methods, and password restricted access.
Staff training. We train our staff to handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Please be advised, however, that while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information and privacy, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online and are not responsible for the theft, destruction or inadvertent disclosure of your personally identifiable information. The Websites may include subscription and registration management tools that allow you to make changes regarding your preferences for receiving communications. We will respond to your request and, if applicable and appropriate, make the requested change in our active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Please, note that we may not be able to fulfill certain requests while allowing you access to certain benefits and features of our Websites. Also, please note that it is not always possible to completely change, remove or delete all of your information from our databases and that residual data may remain on backup media or for other reasons. Also, if you have made any public postings on the Websites such as in forums or blogs, these communications are generally not removed by us.

Do Not Track (DNT) browser setting is a feature offered by some browsers which, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked, such as by third party ad networks, social networks and analytic companies. This website does not currently respond to DNT requests.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Updates to Privacy Policy. We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. The date at the top of this Privacy Policy tells you when it was last updated. Any changes to this Privacy Policy become effective when we publish it online. If you do not agree with changes to this Privacy Policy, you may be able to terminate your account with us.

Data Retention. Even after you cancel your account with us, we will retain your information for as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. For example, we may retain your information to prevent fraud, or to maintain systems security. We may also retain your information if required or allowed to by law, regulation or relevant standards and codes of conduct, or to fulfil our contractual obligations to a third party. In certain circumstances, including where we are prevented by technical or systems constraints, we may not be able to remove all of your personal information.
If you share your information with a social media service (including by posting information to that service), this information may not be removed even after you cancel your account. If you delete your account with us, your account information may still be accessible by others for a short period of time because of the way that your information is stored on the internet.

Sensitive Information. We ask that you not provide us with any sensitive information (such as information about your racial or ethnic origin, religious or other beliefs, health, criminal background or trade union membership) when using Company Services, or otherwise. If you do provide us with any sensitive information, you consent to us collecting and handling that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Children. The features, programs, promotions and other aspects of our Websites requiring personally identifiable information are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of thirteen (13) and believe he or she has disclosed personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at privacy@bushcooking.com. A parent or guardian of a child under the age of thirteen (13) may review and request deletion of such child’s personally identifiable information as well as prohibit the use thereof.
