Camp Oven Recipe Ideas

Although not as fancy as those in our modern-day home, camp ovens are still a cooking tool that can provide a vast array of new recipes to try.

Camp ovens range from drums built into dirt mounds with wood fires below them, to portable variations to those found in travel trailers and motorhomes.

The capacity tends to be smaller than the modern size kitchen and this is reflected in many of the recipes using smaller sized pans, 6 hole muffin tins, and similar.

(Note: Some countries use the word Camp Oven for a Dutch Oven, this is a different collection of recipes)
