Chili Con Carne
Chili Con Carne is a common go-to camp meal, that is an amazingly healthy, high protein recipe packed with flavor, with a lot of flexible ways to be served.
Dinner is the main meal of the day and in the outdoor world it tends to come down to two approaches, the first being something as simple as possible that keeps me fed so I can keep enjoying my time outdoors. The second is the opposite where you can help but wonder if the entire reason for being outdoors is so you can cook.
Dinner can revolve around the main dish and side dishes, mains include options like smoked chicken, ribs, brisket, and pork; grilled steaks, seafood, and burgers. Often these flights can also include common characteristics of being stuffed and/or bacon-wrapped.
Wet dishes such as those cooked in Dutch ovens and pans are another popular dinner choice and include stews, casseroles, braises, and pot roasts. Chili is incredibly popular as an option, along with pasta dishes, rice dishes, and curries.
