Campfire Beef Stew

Sloppy Joes are a classic American dish which is effectively seasoned ground beef served in a rolls, making it a quick and easy camp meal.
You can vary with the type of roll used and the salsa that you select.
This recipe can be multiplied easily making it ideal for a lunch gathering for a large family camp or Scout troop.
1 pound (450g) ground beef
1 can (10 oz / 285g) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 cup of favorite salsa
4 rolls, burger or hot dog work well
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In the skillet brown the ground beef, then drain any excess grease.
Mix the condensed tomato soup and salsa with the browned ground beef.
Served the sloppy joe mix in the roll then top with the shredded cheese.
