Easy Steak Salad

A large, metal bowl containing barbecued steak pieces on a salad of sliced lettuce, cherry tomatoes and shredded cheese.

The beauty of this simple steak salad is that it can be prepared ahead of time. The meat can be pulled straight off the BBQ, then diced and added to the greens.

The salad greens can be as simple or as complicated as you like based on what is available, or even foraged.

The steak can also be as simple or as complicated as you wish. This recipe uses a very basic marinade.
