Caramel Apple Smore

Love smores, but not all the sugar? Then this is a healthy version worth considering! With the fresh flavors of the popular combination of apples and caramel.

The apples replace the crackers, making this version not only fresh but naturally gluten-free. We prefer crisp-tart apples, like Granny Smith’s. The marshmallow remains then the chocolate is replaced with a caramel sauce.

A commercial caramel can be used or make your own dulce de leche from condensed milk. Either way, you’ll love these easy-to-make non-traditional s’mores.
