Campfire Chili Hot Dogs

Easily cooked over a campfire, these chili hot dogs are a quick, easy, and tasty meal while camping. Choose your chili based on your heat preference, mild to spicy. Cheddar cheese is a great option, but many different types of cheeses will do.

The hotdogs are plastic vacuum packed and the chili canned so both these as super easy to transport and store. The bread can be a little tricker, so keep care not to squish it while transporting. You can either bring shredded cheese or shred it at camp.

Since this meal is cooked over a campfire and served on a napkin, there are no dishes. A total bonus when camping! This is especially so if you heat the canned chili next to the campfire. BUT please be careful and open the can before cooking, as it can explode.
