An aromatic pork tenderloin marinade that combines garlic, herbs, wine, and oils. Once marinated, you can cook the pork on the BBQ or in a smoker or Dutch oven.
Although specifically referencing pork tenderloin in this recipe, the marinade also works great on fish, chicken, and other meats.
As there is little sugar in the recipe it is great for grilling as it doesn’t caramelize (aka burn) quickly.
Pork Tenderloin Marinade Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 cloves garlic finely diced
- 1 handful fresh coriander diced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons shaoxing rice wine or white wine
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 pork tenderloin or fillet
Equipment
- 1 large Ziplock bag
Directions
- In a Ziploc bag combine the garlic, coriander, soy sauce, wine, and oils. Let the flavors combine for a few minutes.
- Trim any excess fat or similar from the pork tenderloin. Cut into the desired serving sizes or leave whole.
- Add the pork to the bag containing the marinade and chill for at least 2 hours. Remove from marinade and cook as desired.
