Pork Tenderloin Marinade
An aromatic Pork Tenderloin Marinade that combines garlic, herbs, wine, and oils. Once marinated, you can cook the pork on the BBQ, a smoker or Dutch oven.
Although specifically referencing pork tenderloin in this recipe, the marinade also works great on fish, chicken, and other meats.
As there is little sugar in the recipe it is great from grilling as it doesn’t caramelize (aka burn) quickly.
5 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 handful fresh coriander, diced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons shaoxing rice wine or white wine
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 pork tenderloin or fillet
1 large Ziplock bag
In a Ziploc bag combine the garlic, coriander, soy sauce, wine, and oils. Let for the flavours combine for a few minutes.
Trim any excess fat or similar from the pork tenderloin. Cut into the desired serving sizes or leave whole.
Add the pork to the bag containing the marinade and chill for at least 2 hours. Remove from marinade and cook as desired.
