Hike Noodle Soup

This is a great lightweight and very tasty noodle soup perfect for any hike, whether you are going just for the day or overnight. This is essentially instant ramen noodles, but with a little twist. Instead of using the flavor packet, you are creating a healthier version on your own. 

You can pre-make this soup and place it in a container or bag. Then move it to a cup when needed, such as lunch on a hike or dinner on a camping trip. If hiking, you can add protein such as dried sausage, jerky, or similar for a little boost.

Feel free to play around with your favorite flavors. Try beef stock instead of chicken, or add thyme or rosemary. In a pinch, you can always use the stock packet that came with the noodles, of course.
