Camp Noodle Soup
A quick cook Camp Noodle Soup this is a wonderful addition to any camp menu. With light ingredients and Asian flavors its ideal for hiking or trekking.
This is a great light weight and very tasty noodle soup perfect for any hike whether just for the day or over night.
You can pre-make this and place in a container or bag then move to the cup when needed such as lunch on a hike or dinner on a hike. If hiking you can add protein such as dried sausage, jerky, or similar.
Feel free to play around with you favorite flavors such as beef stock instead of chicken, add thyme or rosemary. Use the stock packet that came with the noodles?
1 ramen noodle block
1 tablespoon powdered chicken stock
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
cilantro dried (or fresh)
1 cup
method to boil water
In the cup add the noodles, powdered chicken stock, garlic, ginger, chili, and cilantro.
Tip: Alternatively you can pre-make this mix and bring pre-mixed.
Boil the water then add to the soup. Let sit for at least 5 minutes before eating.
