It’s easy to over-complicate making Burger Patties, so it is worth getting back to the basics of just a well ground fatty meat, some salt, and the grill.
Grilled Cheeseburger Pizza
With the grilled cheeseburger pizza, two of your favorite foods meet as one! It’s the perfect combination of both a pizza and a burger, with crust, beef, and dill pickles.
This recipe is easy to put together, using a store-bought par-baked pizza crust. Many of the other ingredients are common items in your pantry.
This pizza makes a great lunch or dinner, at the office or at home for the family.
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup mustard
1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 store-bought par-baked pizza crusts
1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
Brown the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through. Drain off any fat.
Add the ketchup, mustard, pickles, and cheddar cheese to the beef. Stir until combined. Spread the mixture on top of the pizza crusts.
Top each pizza with the Colby Jack cheese.
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat, or 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
Grill the pizza for 8 to 10 minutes, with the lid down. Rotate the pizza every 3 minutes, and check the bottom to make sure it isn’t burning.
Remove the pizza from the grill and let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before slicing.
