Mustard Slathered Lamb Cutlets

Lamb cutlets are a nice change to cook while camping with a lot of various cooking options, this recipe uses a wholegrain mustard slather before being fried.

This is a very versatile recipe that can be cooked anywhere that can heat a skillet, whether gas, campfire or other.

This recipe is super easy to prepare. Which gives you time to hang out with your friends and family while cooking up supper.

Ingredients

Mustard Slather

olive oil

salt, to taste

1 tablespoon sugar

pinch pepper

1 tablespoon melted butter

1 tablespoon ground garlic

4 tablespoons whole grain mustard

1 teaspoon chilli flakes or to taste

pinch cumin

2 tablespoons orange juice

2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary

Lamb

4 lamb cutlets

dash oil

Recipe Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, sugar, pepper, butter, garlic, whole grain mustard, chili flake, cumin, orange juice, and rosemary.

  2. Slather the lamb cutlets in the mustard slather

  3. Prepare a grill for indirect heat.

  4. Cook the cutlets until the desired doneness, aiming for a slightly blush color when sliced.

  5. Remove from the grill and let the lamb rest before slicing.
