Spam Burnt Ends

Spam burnt ends are a playful and delicious twist on the beloved traditional barbecue classic of brisket burnt ends. They are famous for their crispy outer sweet crust and melt-in-your-mouth centers. This version swaps out the brisket for Spam, a well-known camping canned meat product. This makes it a more accessible and faster option without sacrificing the unique characteristics that define burnt ends.

The appeal of Spam burnt ends lies in their simplicity, which still achieves the bold flavors. With a few pantry staples, you can transform a humble can of Spam into bite-sized cubes of smoky, sticky goodness. The cooking process involves smoking the Spam, allowing it to develop a firm texture and absorb smoky flavors, then finishing it in a sweet and savory glaze.

Perfect for casual gatherings, group camping trips, or game day snacks, as finger food, Spam burnt ends make an easy, affordable, and crowd-pleasing option. They deliver everything loved about traditional burnt ends in a fraction of the time, at a fraction of the cost.
