Quick and Easy Rolls

A baking sheet of golden brown rolls.

Sometimes you just want quick and easy rolls that don’t need yeast or sourdough and their associated time. This is a simple rising agent roll. The key (and surprise) ingredient in this recipe is mayonnaise.

The mayonnaise is an odd ingredient but often can make its way into simplified recipes like this. The mayonnaise is used instead of eggs because it is easier to transport and store. Surprisingly, there is no impact on the taste and if you don’t tell people it is there they will never guess.

Simple recipes like this work really well while cooking outdoors. It gives you fresh bread without the associated hassle and time.
