Dutch Oven Cook Off Lover

Became intrigued by the mystery of Dutch oven cooking when I first saw Cee Dubb on TV.

My first Dutch oven experience came at a bluegrass festival where the local Dutch oven chapter was cooking dinner for the bands. They asked me if I would like to make something and with a borrowed pot and a box of cornbread mix I was hooked. My husband gave me a 10 and 12-inch Dutch oven for my birthday that year and I was off and running.

I entered every contest I could find and took my cooking to a new level. After placing and winning many events, I found myself on my way to Utah for the World Dutch Oven Cookoff. At the last second y cooking partner had a family emergency and was unable to go.

My wonderful husband stepped up and not even knowing how to cook said he would just wash my dishes. We have been a duo ever since entering many cook-offs and meeting wonderful people along the way.
