This sweet treat is the combination of two great outdoor treats trail mix and chocolate bark creating a great snack or finger food for around the campfire.
Combine the almonds, raisins, apricots, pawpaw, and apple to create a trail mix.
To Assemble
On a baking tray lay the sheet of baking paper.
Fill the pot with 1 inch of water then place the heatproof bowl on top. Place the chocolate in the bowl then slowly bring the water to a simmer while the chocolate melts.
When the chocolate has just melted stir well and tip so as to create a thin layer of chocolate over the greaseproof paper. As soon as possible and before the chocolate starts to set sprinkle with the homemade trail mix.
If a cold day the chocolate bark can be left on the bench to set. If a warm or hot day then place the chocolate bark in a cooler to set. After about 20 minutes it will be set.
Break or cut the trail mix chocolate bark into serving sizes.
