Place the two pieces of bread on a chopping board and spread pizza sauce on both of them.
Sprinkle the sauce with the cheese, dividing evenly between the two slices.
On one of the slices add the ham and pineapple.
Close the other slice of bread on top so there is pizza sauce and cheese on both sides of the ham and pineapple.
Place the sandwich in the pie iron and close. Cook over the coals of the campfire for about 10 minutes, turning regularly, so as to not burn the outside, and cook all the way through.
