In a bowl add the ground turkey, garlic, ginger, cilantro, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Divide the mixture into four equal-sized balls, then squash to make a rissole. If making meatballs, divide them into eight equal-sized balls.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey rissoles and cook until golden brown, then turn and cook the other side, about 6 minutes on each side. Ensure that they are cooked all the way through before serving.
